Kristy Monahan joined Traner Smith in 2019 after several successful years running and growing her own bookkeeping practice focused on leveraging the cloud, new technologies, and empowering business owners to truly understand their finances.

As an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and active member of Intuit's Trainer Writer Network, Kristy has taken part in preparing training materials for QuickBooks and has trained business owners and other accounting professionals on various topics ranging from QuickBooks Online basics to running a business from the cloud. Kristy enjoys working with businesses of all sizes in all industries, but truly enjoys working with passionate non-profit organizations.

Kristy received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002 and continues her accounting education currently at Washington Governor's University working toward her Masters. Kristy co-facilitates a Puget-Sound based accounting group, The QuickSource, and is a current member of the WSCPA. When she's not counting beans and supporting clients' success, Kristy can be found spending time with her two children, singing and playing guitar, and cheering loudly for the Seahawks!
